I was waiting for the subway on my way home from work, and some of the faces on the platform gave me a feeling of deja vu. Young girls, eager and sure, talk among themselves, while their clothes tell me that they are in their senior year of college. College graduation will come soon.

It's odd to think that not long ago; I too was excited about the future while having the time of my life. I remember how Marie said jokingly at the office a few weeks ago, "I want to have fun, I'm going to go back to school again!" I too, like everyone else who heard her remark, understand completely what she meant.

For a quick second I catch a last glimpse of those young girls before the subway comes and replaces them with a reflection of myself on its window. I too was once like them, an attractive woman enjoying life who was blessed by God with a plus size body. College was the best time of my life.
