Plus Size Jackets For The Cool Weather
I’ve already gone on about how much I enjoy fall colors, but the weather is another reason I’m totally in love with autumn. The crisp breeze and lower temperatures are so refreshing. And I’m ready to change my summer wardrobe over to fall styles, jackets being one of my favorite choices for the season. They can be long sleeved, short sleeved, light, heavy, button up, pull over; there’s so much variety!
I like to wear comfortable and casual plus size clothing, so I’m all about jackets with wide sleeves. They’re warm, stylish, and comfy. On a chilly day, it’s easy to put a jacket over a tank top or blouse to keep warm and look fantastic. I find that open front jackets are great for a day with mild temperatures. If you’re worried about catching a chill, I recommend a button or zip up jacket that you can close up.
Plus size jackets are perfect for fall. You can find all kinds of different styles, so you never have to limit yourself to just one look. If you have trouble finding mature plus size clothing for women in your local stores, try shopping online. I find that it makes shopping so much easier. I can do everything from the comfort of home and get my new jackets for fall delivered right to my front door.
Stephen, Your Designer
“There is an amazing feeling of artistic accomplishment when all the parts come together into one harmonious aesthetic. It’s a connection with who you are and the elements you choose to express yourself visually. This is what making clothing is all about for me. It’s like when a songwriter hears his first written notes from a voice or a baker who has practiced a recipe and nails it or a figure skater who exceeds her own expectations. I express my sense of art in clothing. I see things in color, shape and texture. I react to the touch of silk on my skin and my eyes are aware of how color combinations make me feel. My goal is to bring all of these intuitive notions to garments that are sized for larger women. If I can accomplish this then I have reached my goal.” – Stephen
