Casual Plus Size Clothing for Mature Women

The fashion industry is giving more and more attention to plus size women lately, and it’s something I couldn’t be more thrilled about.  It’s wonderful to see plus size models take to the catwalk and prove that big, curvy women are gorgeous.  Designers that once rejected the plus size market are now making more of an effort to create fashions for larger women too.  But it seems like casual plus size clothing for mature women is still hard to find.

In general, fashion designers have always focused on the younger crowd when creating new styles and designs.  Which means that styles for middle aged women have been put aside.  But we want comfortable outfits that fit our active lifestyle!  Many women have found that shopping in local stores just doesn’t give them enough options.  So they’re taking to the Web and finding styles designed just for them.

Middle age plus size clothing designed specifically for mature women is stylish and comfortable.  Instead of trying to keep up with all the latest fashion trends, these styles offer classic looks that always look fantastic.  If you are having trouble finding clothing you like in department stores and specialty boutiques, take a look at all the great casual plus size clothing available online.

Stephen, Your Designer

“There is an amazing feeling of artistic accomplishment when all the parts come together into one harmonious aesthetic. It’s a connection with who you are and the elements you choose to express yourself visually. This is what making clothing is all about for me. It’s like when a songwriter hears his first written notes from a voice or a baker who has practiced a recipe and nails it or a figure skater who exceeds her own expectations. I express my sense of art in clothing. I see things in color, shape and texture. I react to the touch of silk on my skin and my eyes are aware of how color combinations make me feel. My goal is to bring all of these intuitive notions to garments that are sized for larger women. If I can accomplish this then I have reached my goal.” – Stephen
