Stylish Scarves for Casual Plus Size Clothing

I love getting to mix and match scarves with my winter outfits.  There are so many options to choose from, anything from simple solid colored wool scarves to winter prints to elegant silk scarves.  I find that solids, plaids, and winter prints look best with casual plus size clothing.  They are easy to work into just about any outfit.

If you’re wearing a solid colored winter coat, you have just about endless options when it comes to what scarf to use.  I am a huge fan of plaid scarves, so I tend towards plaid wool scarves when I want to stay warm and look great on frigid winter days.  I have a few faux fur scarves too; they look really nice with some outfits.  If you want a more festive look, use scarves with cute winter designs like snowflakes and holiday prints.

Scarves are the perfect winter accessory; they add a stylish touch to any outfit and you can add several to your wardrobe without spending an arm and a leg.  I like to mix and match my scarves to complement my winter hats and gloves too.  Matching hat, glove, and scarf sets always look great.  Stay warm and stylish this winter with scarves that complement your casual plus size clothing.

Stephen, Your Designer

“There is an amazing feeling of artistic accomplishment when all the parts come together into one harmonious aesthetic. It's a connection with who you are and the elements you choose to express yourself visually. This is what making clothing is all about for me. It's like when a songwriter hears his first written notes from a voice or a baker who has practiced a recipe and nails it or a figure skater who exceeds her own expectations. I express my sense of art in clothing. I see things in color, shape and texture. I react to the touch of silk on my skin and my eyes are aware of how color combinations make me feel. My goal is to bring all of these intuitive notions to garments that are sized for larger women. If I can accomplish this then I have reached my goal.” – Stephen
